UG 27th Graduation Day 2024

AIMS Institutes, Bengaluru proudly celebrated its 27th Undergraduate Graduation Day with a grand ceremony held in the institute’s auditorium. This year, over 200 students from a range of undergraduate programs, including BBA, BBA Aviation, BA, BCA, BHM, and B.Com, were honored. The event was attended by distinguished senior leadership, esteemed guests, parents, and the graduating class of 2024.

The ceremony began with a solemn and dignified procession, where graduates, faculty members, and dignitaries marched together in a formal parade, symbolizing the unity and collective purpose of the academic community. Following the procession, the traditional lamp lighting ceremony was held, marking the illumination of knowledge and the commencement of a new chapter. Dr. Roja Reddy, Executive Director & Principal of AIMS Institutes, Dr. B.M. Rama Murthy, Registrar, AIMS Institutes, Dr. Karunakar Reddy, Controller of Examinations, AIMS Institutes, Dr. Hemanth Kumar S, Dean of the School of Business & Finance, AIMS Institutes, and Dr. Indrajith, Dean of the School of Hospitality & Tourism, AIMS Institutes, performed the ritual of lighting the ceremonial lamp. This act symbolized the enlightenment and promising future awaiting the graduates. The soft glow of the lamp illuminated the faces of all present, reflecting the hope and aspirations of the students as they step into their professional lives.

The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address by Dr. Roja Reddy. In her opening remarks, she expressed pride in the students’ achievements and recognized the relentless efforts of the faculty and staff in shaping future leaders. She then formally declared the graduation ceremony open, inviting the graduates to step forward and celebrate their accomplishments.

The Chief Guest for the occasion, Ms. Uma Reddy, VP of FKCCI and MD of M/s Hitech Magnetics & Electronics Pvt Ltd., delivered an inspiring graduation address. She spoke passionately about navigating the challenges of life, emphasizing the resilience and adaptability needed to overcome obstacles. Ms. Reddy encouraged the graduates to approach their post-graduation journey with an open mind, highlighting the importance of entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial thinking. She urged them to create opportunities not only for themselves but also for others, and stressed the graduates’ responsibility to contribute positively to the community and society, fostering a culture of care and concern for others.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Hanumanthappa, Former Chairman of the Department of Computer Applications at Bangalore University, Bengaluru, emphasized the critical role of innovation in today’s rapidly evolving world. He encouraged graduates to continuously seek new ideas and creative solutions, and to stay abreast of the latest technological advancements. Dr. Hanumanthappa also highlighted the importance of exceeding expectations and aiming to delight, rather than merely satisfy, future customers and clients.

The UG Program Directors and Managers announced awards in various categories, honoring students for their achievements, followed by speeches from the best outgoing students. This was a proud moment for both the students and their families. The ceremony was filled with pride and joy as students ascended the stage to receive their certificates and awards amidst applause and cheers from the audience. Dr. B.M. Rama Murthy, Registrar, AIMS Institutes, led the graduates in taking a pledge to uphold the values and principles instilled in them during their time at the institute and to contribute positively to society.

The Graduation Day ceremony stood as a testament to the institute’s commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of its students. Dr. Roja Reddy formally declared the graduation ceremony dissolved, marking the conclusion of the formal proceedings.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Indrajit Chaudhury, Dean of the School of Hospitality and Tourism, AIMS Institutes, followed by the national anthem. AIMS Institutes extends its best wishes to all graduates for success and prosperity in their future endeavors.
