ABOUT FDP
In today’s dynamic world, where artificial intelligence (AI) and rapid innovation are transforming industries, educational leaders and faculty must be equipped to navigate these changes. The ability to foster creative problem-solving, adapt to emerging technologies, and lead in this era of transformation is critical. This 5-day FDP focuses on empowering educators to integrate AI, innovation, and transformational leadership into their teaching practices, enabling them to prepare the next generation of leaders. By blending theoretical foundations with hands-on practice, this program will enable faculty members to integrate innovative teaching strategies and design thinking principles into their pedagogy, research, and academic leadership roles.
Objectives
To equip faculty with the tools and methodologies of innovation and design thinking that can be integrated into teaching, research, and institutional development. To introduce participants to design thinking processes that enhance critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, both in the classroom and in academic leadership. To explore innovative approaches in teaching and curriculum development, focusing on experiential learning, student engagement, and improved learning outcomes. To encourage faculty to apply innovative approaches in their endeavors and foster stronger collaborations with industry to solve real-world problems.
Expected Outcomes
Participants will leave with a practical understanding of how to incorporate design thinking frameworks into their curriculum to create more engaging and experiential learning environments. Faculty members will gain innovative strategies for improving student learning outcomes, focusing on creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. The FDP will help faculty explore innovative approaches while fostering stronger collaboration with industry and academic peers. Participants will be empowered to lead innovation within their institutions, driving academic excellence and institutional growth.
